ACTIVITIES

With your reservation in cabins #054 or #058, you will have free access to these exclusive facilities, which also include a picnic area and campfire pits.

*Note that for cabin #054, 10 wristbands are available and 8 wristbands are available for cabin #058.

Children under 10 years old do not need to wear a wristband, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

WARNING

Swimming, access to the water, and use of the equipment provided are unsupervised and are at your own risk.
The rules in force must be respected at all times. Anyone refusing to comply will be escorted out of the club and their wristband will be deactivated. (The minimum cost to reactivate a wristband is $75.)
No alcoholic beverages are permitted at the club.
Leashed dogs are permitted before 10:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m. Any fecal matter must be removed by owners or a $250 fine will be imposed.
PROHIBITED on the club premises:

Cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cannabis, shisha, or any other substance or drug.
Radios, portable stereos, music players, portable speakers, coolers, barbecues, chairs, tents, or other items.
Personal water sports or inflatable equipment is not permitted. They can contaminate the lake water.
No motorized vehicles
IMPORTANT

You must wear your wristband or access card at all times. Attach it to the provided lanyard and place the lanyard around your neck so that it is easily visible.
NOTE: The restroom in the reception pavilion is reserved exclusively for Club staff.

Tennis

Enjoy a panoramic view of majestic Lake Superior while playing on one of the two clay tennis courts.

TENNIS RULES
Reservations: NO ACCESS WITHOUT AN ONLINE RESERVATION CODE.
To play, you must reserve a time slot no more than one week in advance at: https://leclubdelapointe.simplybook.me/

 

Players must provide their name and unit number (chalet or suite) when booking.
Only one reservation is allowed per day and per unit.
Players must arrive at least 10 minutes before their reservation time.
Players arriving more than 10 minutes late automatically lose their time slot.

Tennis Attire
Players must wear appropriate athletic attire.
Players must wear tennis or athletic shoes with non-marking soles. Spiked shoes, flip-flops, and beach sandals are prohibited.

General Instructions
The courts are reserved exclusively for the practice of tennis.
Players of any other sport will be asked to leave the court immediately. Only players are allowed on the court during a match.

Players are asked to:
Exhibit good sportsmanship, use respectful language, and treat all equipment and facilities with care.
Take shelter during an approaching thunderstorm.
Refrain from playing on a wet court.
Scrape the court before the next players arrive.
Dispose of their waste in the trash.

Players are also asked to:

No smoking, vaping, or consuming alcohol.
No eating on the court, bringing food onto the court, or possessing cups or glass containers. Children’s strollers or large bags that could interfere with play are prohibited.
All children on the grounds must be supervised by an adult at all times.

In the event of maintenance work or adverse weather conditions, Club de la Pointe reserves the right to close the grounds.

Water-sports Equipment

Reserve a kayak, canoe, paddleboard, or pedal boat to get out on the lake and observe wildlife up close.

HOURS: 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Thanksgiving (provided the water temperature is 15 degrees Celsius or higher and the weather conditions are acceptable)
MAXIMUM TIME: 60 minutes
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PEOPLE: 1-4
No child under 16 may use a boat without adult supervision.
Life jackets are mandatory at all times.
Please help store borrowed equipment in its proper place and hang life jackets on the rope provided.

Pool

**Open from the end of June until the first Monday in September (Labor Day)

Refresh yourself in the saltwater pool at Club de la Pointe; the perfect gathering place for families on a hot summer day.

RESERVATIONS: Not required, first-come, first-served
HOURS: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., 7 days a week, weather permitting
MAXIMUM TIME: 60 minutes
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS: 10 at a time
Although the pool is supervised, children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Swimsuits are required, and swim diapers are required for all toddlers.
See pool rules posted on site.

Poolside Islands

Relax poolside in your own private island! Reserve one of seven islands for your group of up to 6 people.

RESERVATIONS: Not necessary, first come, first served
HOURS: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., 7 days a week, weather permitting, until September 5th.
MAXIMUM TIME: 3 hours
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS: According to public health measures
Each island includes 2 lounge chairs and 2 chairs with plenty of space
You must remain on your island and refrain from adding or removing furniture provided to you

Dock

Jump into the lake or hop in your canoe using the main dock at Club de la Pointe. All docks are reserved exclusively for those wishing to access the lake and water sports equipment.

Sorry, no sunbathing on the docks – our islands are available for you to relax on.

RESERVATIONS: Not necessary, as the docks are simply an entry and exit point to the lake.
HOURS: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week.
No lifeguards on duty.
Read the boating safety chart before accessing the lake.
Look before you dive and always be careful around the water.

Lake View Islets

Enjoy the sun and breathtaking views of the lake by reserving one of eight socially distanced islets.

RESERVATIONS: Not required, first-come, first-served
HOURS: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week
MAXIMUM TIME: 3 hours
Each islet includes 3 lounge chairs with ample space
You must remain on your islet and refrain from adding or removing furniture provided

Patio Islands

Bring your lunch and eat it on the wooden deck next to our activity pavilion. Each bistro set includes six chairs with tables placed at least 2 meters apart to ensure proper social distancing.

RESERVATIONS: Not required, first come, first served
HOURS: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week
MAXIMUM TIME: 3 hours

Yoga

Join us for yoga on the terrace or in the gym, weather permitting.

HOURS: Saturday 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
DATES: June 24th to September 5th
60-minute time slot
Groups are limited to 15 people outdoors and 10 people indoors.
No equipment will be shared. Please bring your own mats and towels.
No reservations are necessary; first-come, first-served.

Youth Club

Give the kids their own pavilion to play ping-pong or foosball.

RESERVATIONS: Not required, first come, first served
HOURS: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week
MAXIMUM TIME: 60 minutes
The club is unsupervised

Gym

Enjoy breathtaking views of the lake while you work out! Our private gym, located next to the pool, includes weights, an elliptical trainer, a stationary bike, and resistance bands to keep you active during your vacation.

RESERVATIONS: Not necessary, first come, first served
HOURS: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week
MAXIMUM TIME: 60 minutes
Equipment must not be removed from the gym
Appropriate footwear is required
A bathroom and shower are available inside the gym

Volleyball and Badminton

Jump, place, point! Bring your own equipment (ball/racket) to play as a team on the lakeside Club de la Pointe’s outdoor beach volleyball/badminton court.

RESERVATIONS: Not required, first come, first served
HOURS: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week
MAXIMUM TIME: 60 minutes
No equipment will be loaned

Beach volleyball courts

Adjacent to the beach volleyball court, four beach volleyball courts have been set up on the grass for groups of up to six people.

RESERVATIONS: Not required, first-come, first-served
HOURS: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week
MAXIMUM TIME: 3 hours
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PEOPLE: In accordance with public health measures
Each beach chair has two lounge chairs and two chairs, with ample space.
You must remain on your beach chair and refrain from adding or removing furniture.

Pétanque

Available in summer only

Originating in Provence, France, this century-old game involves throwing or rolling pétanque balls toward a target ball. The ball closest to the target wins!

RESERVATIONS: Not necessary, first come, first served
MAXIMUM TIME: 60 minutes

Open-Air Fire Pits

Available Year-Round

The Pointe Club’s open-air fire pits are located outdoors among the trees at the western end of the Pointe. Roast marshmallows while admiring a myriad of stars twinkling in the night sky.

Note: Open-air fire pits are not available when their use is restricted by the municipality.

RESERVATIONS: Not necessary, first-come, first-served

Skating Rink ( winter season only)

The skating rink is closed for the winter season and will return next year.

Regular hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

It is important to respect the signs indicating whether the rink is open or closed, depending on the weather and ice conditions.

In winter, the Club de la Pointe staff transforms the beach volleyball court into a skating rink! Bring your equipment (and hot chocolate) and skate while admiring the snow-capped mountains.

New:

The skating rink will have beautiful ambient lighting in the evening.

End your evening by the outdoor fireplace and roast marshmallows while admiring a myriad of stars twinkling in the night sky.

Hiking and Snowshoeing Trails ( winter season only)

As the number of pairs is limited, it will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Before setting out on your hike, make sure you have the right footwear and clothing. Leave nothing behind; you will find trash and recycling bins at the Club de la Pointe. Campfires on the trail are prohibited.

Please note that no pets are allowed at the facilities.
